At Dallas - Star Forward Dirk Nowitzki from the Dallas Mavericks has the view to play two more seasons in the league. He is the 6th leading scored in the history of the NBA and got an important raise when he re-signed with the Mavericks in which will provide him $8.7 million in the upcoming season.
"By that point I'm turning 40, and that's already up there in age for the NBA, so we'll just have to wait and see how the body responds next two years." Dirk stated.
Dirk and the Mavs originally agreed on a two year deal amounting to $40 million. However, owner Mark Cuban insisted to have additional to the face of franchise to $50 million.
"He's been incredibly loyal to me, and I've shown obviously that I've wanted to be here last couple years,"
"I think he wanted to reward me in a way. It makes me obviously feel great and feel wanted. I'm happy that I can finish my career here in Dallas, where I always wanted to be, and hopefully finish strong the last couple of years."
